Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesied in Vedas

Discription with locations in Vedas
In the 20th book of Atharva Veda Hymn-127, some Suktas (chapters) are known as ‘kuntap sukt’. ‘Kuntap’ means ‘the consumer of misery and troubles’, thus meaning ‘the message of peace and safety’. This translated in Arabic means Islam.

‘Kuntap’ also means hidden glands in the abdomen. These mantras are probably called so because their true meaning was hidden and was to be revealed in future. Its hidden meaning is also connected with the naval or the middle point of the earth. Makkah is called the ‘ummul Qura’, or ‘the mother of the towns’ or ‘the naval of the earth’ in many revealed books. It was the first house of worship of the One God where Almighty God gave spiritual nourishment to the world. The Glorious Qur’an says:

“The first House (of worship) appointed for men
was that at Bakka (Makkah) full of blessing
and of guidance for all kinds of beings.”
(Al Qur’an 3:96)

Another name for Makkah is Becca. Thus ‘kuntap’ stands for Makkah or Becca.
Several people like M. Bloom Field, Prof Ralph Griffith, Pandit Rajaram, Pandit Khem Karan and others have translated these kuntap suktas. The main points mentioned in the kuntap suktas in Atharvaved book 20 Hymn 127 verses 1-13 are:

Mantra 1
He is narashansah or the praised one (Mohammad).
He is Kaurama the prince of peace or the emigrant, who is safe even amongst a host of 60,090 enemies.

Mantra 2.
He is a camel-riding Rishi, whose chariot touches the heaven.

Mantra 3.
He is Mamah Rishi.

Mantra 4
Vachyesv rebh ‘Oh! Ye who glorifies.’

Mantra 14
We glorify or praise the great hero with a song of praise and a prayer. Please accept this praise so that evil may not befall us.

(i) The Sanskrit word ‘Narashansah’ means ‘the praised one’ which is the literal translation of the Arabic word Muhammad (pbuh).

The Sanskrit word ‘Kaurama’ means ‘one who spreads and promotes peace’. The holy Prophet was the ‘prince of peace’ and he preached equality of human kind and universal brotherhood. ‘Kaurama’ also means ‘an emigrant’. The Prophet migrated from Makkah to Madeenah and was thus an emigrant.

(ii) He will be protected from 60,090 enemies, which was the population of Makkah. The prophet would ride a camel. This clearly indicates that, it cannot be an Indian Rishi since it is forbidden for a Brahman to ride a camel. According to Manu Smriti chapter 11 verse 202 sacred books of the east, volume 25, Laws of Manu pg. 472 “A Brahman is prohibited from riding a camel or an ass and to bathe naked. He should purify himself by suppressing his breath”.

(iii) This mantra gave the Rishi name as Mamah. No Rishi in India or any other prophet had this name. ‘Mamah’ is derived from ‘Mah’ which means to esteem highly, or to revere, and to exalt. Some Sanskrit books give the prophet’s name as ‘Mahamad’ but this word according to Sanskrit grammer can also be used in the bad sense. It is incorrect to apply grammar to an Arabic word. Actually Mamah has the same meaning and somewhat similar pronunciation as the word Muhammad (pbuh).

Battle in which the Prophet was victorious without an actual conflict of the Allies described in the Vedas

It is mentioned is Atharvaveda Book 20 hymn 21, verse 6: “O Lord of the truthful! These liberators drinks, these feats of bravery and the inspiring songs gladdened thee in the field of battle. When thou renderst vanquished without fight the ten thousand opponents of the praying one, the adoring one.”

(i) This Prophecy of the Veda describes the well-known battle of Ahzab or the battle of the Allies during the time of Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh). The Prophet was victorious without an actual conflict, which is mentioned in the Qur’an:

“When the believers saw the confederate forces they said:
This is what Allah and his Messenger had promised us,
and Allah and His Messenger told us what was true.”
And it only added to their faith and their zeal in obedience.
(Al Qur’an 33:22)

(ii) The Sanskrit word ‘karo’ in the Mantra means the ‘Praising one’ which when translated into Arabic means Ahmed, the second name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

(iii) The 10,000 opponents mentioned in the mantra were the enemies of the prophet and the Muslims were only 3000 in number.

(iv) The last words of the Mantra ‘aprati ni bashayah’ means the defeat was given to the enemies without an actual fight.

e. The enemies defeat in the conquest of Makkah.
It is mentioned in Atharva Veda book 20 Hymn 21 verse no. 9.
“You have O Indira overthrown 20 kings and 60,099 men with an outstripping chariot wheel who came to fight the praised one or far famed (Muhammad) Orphan”

(i) The population of Makkah at the time of Prophet’s advent was nearly 60,000.
(ii) There were several clans in Makkah each having its own chief. Totally there were about 20 chiefs to rule the population of Makkah.
(iii) An ‘Abandhu’ meaning a ‘helpless man’ who was far famed and ‘Praised one’ [Muhammad (pbuh)] overcame his enemies with the help of God.

f. A similar prophecy is also found in Rigveda Book I, Hymn 53 verse 9.
The Sanskrit word used is ‘Sushrama’ which means praiseworthy or well praised which in Arabic means Muhammad (pbuh).

g. Muhammad (pbuh) did not drink his mother’s milk.
It is mentioned in
(i) Samveda Agni, mantra 64 (S.V. m-64)

(ii) Samveda Book 1 chapter 2, decade 2, verse 2 (S.V. 1:2:2:2)
The habits of this child are very strange. He does not go to his mother for milk, his mother does not feed him milk and yet as soon as he is born he takes up the noble assignment of prophet hood”.

Muhammad (pbuh) was an orphan and thus none of the wet nurses were interested in taking care of him. On the other hand, no mother was willing to give her child to Lady Halima because she did not seem to have enough milk. Thus Lady Halima took Muhammad (pbuh) home for breast-feeding, and as soon as she began to breast-feed Muhammad (pbuh), there was a surge of milk in her breasts.

h. Muhammad (pbuh) prophesied by name as Ahmed
(i) Samveda Uttararchika, mantra 1500
(Samveda Part 2 Book 7 chapter 1 section 5 verse 1) and
(ii) Samveda Indra chapter 2 mantra 152
(Samveda Book 2 chapter 2 decade 1 verse 8)
Similarly he has been prophesied by name as Ahmed in
(iii) Yajurveda chapter 31 verse 18
(iv) Rigveda Book 8 hymn 6 verse 10
(v) Atharvaveda Book 8 chapter 5 verse 16
(vi) Atharvaveda Book 20 chapter 126 verse 14

Muhammad (pbuh) has prophesied by name as Ahmed also in Samveda Uttararchik mantra 1500 Part II Book VII chapter 1 section 5 verse 1 and Samved Indra chapter 2 mantra 152 Book 2 chapter 2 decade 1 verse 8)
“Ahmed acquired from his Lord the knowledge of eternal law. I received light from him just as from the sun”. The Prophecy confirms –

(i) The name of the Prophet as Ahmed. Since Ahmed is an Arabic name, many translators misunderstood it to be Ahm at hi and translated the mantra as I alone have acquired the real wisdom of my father.
(ii) The Prophet was given eternal law i.e. Shari’ah.
(iii) The Rishi was enlightened by the Shari’ah of Prophet Muhammad. The Glorious Qur’an says in Surah Saba:

“We have not sent thee but as a universal
(Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings
and warning them (against sin), but most men
understand not.”
(Al Qur’an 34:28)

* “At night, he of the angelic disposition, the shrewd man, in the guise of a Pishacha said to Raja Bhoj, “O Raja! Your Arya Dharma has been made to prevail over all religions, but according to the commandments of ‘Ishwar Parmatma (God, Supreme Spirit), I shall enforce the strong creed of the meat-eaters.” (Bhavishya Puran)

It is also clear that Kalki Avtar will be meat eater, while in Hindu Dharma meat eating is prohibited. So it is clear that Kalki Avtar will not be from Hindu Dharma. Some people may argue that ‘Raja’ Bhoj mentioned in the prophecy lived in the 11th century C.E. 500 years after the advent of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and was the descendant in the 10th generation of Raja Shalivahan. These people fail to realise that there was not only one Raja of the name Bhoj. The Egyptian Monarchs were called as Pharaoh and the Roman Kings were known as Caesar, similarly the Indian Rajas were given the title of Bhoj. There were several Raja Bhoj who came before the one in 11th Century C.E.)

* “My follower will be a man circumcised, without a tail (on his head), keeping beard, creating a revolution, announcing call for prayer (Adan) and will be eating all lawful things. He will eat all sorts of animals except swine”. (Bhavishya Puran)

In Hindu Dharam Pundits or Brahmins keeps the tail on their heads, while according to Hindu Scripture Kalki will be without tail and on the contrary, he will be keeping the beard, it is well known that it is the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to keep the beard. And only in Islam, Muslims call for prayer during their Adan before Namaz (prayer). In Islam all lawful things and animals are allowed or Halal, while, swine or pork is prohibited (Haram) by God. According to Quran (5.88) “Eat of the lawful and good things, which Allah has provided you.” And (2.173) “He has forbidden you the dead blood, and the flesh of swine”)

* “They will not seek purification from the holy shrubs, but will be purified through warfare (Jihad). Because of their fighting the irreligious nations, they will be known as Musalmans (Muslims). I shall be the originator of this religion of the meat-eating nation.” (Bhavishya Puran)

This indication has clearly proved that the Kalki Avtar is none other than Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), because the Nation or Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is known as Muslims or Musalman.

* The Sanskrit word used is Sushrama, which means praiseworthy or well praised which in Arabic means Muhammad (PBUH). [Rigveda Book I, Hymn 53 verse 9]

Another name of Prophet Muhammad is AHMED, no other prophet had this name except prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as Prophet Esa (PBUH) also gave the indication of a Messenger to his nation, who will come after him and his name will be AHMED. According to Quran (61.6)”And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said, ‘O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be AHMED.’ But when he came to them with clear signs, they said, ‘this is evident sorcery!” (61.6) Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave the Islamic Law of SHARIAH. According to Quran (34.28) “ We have sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not.”

* “He is Narashansah or the praised one (Muhammad). He is Kaurama: the prince of peace or the emigrant, who is safe, even amongst a host of 60,090 enemies. He is a camel-riding Rishi, whose chariot touches the heaven”. [Atharvaveda book 20 Hymn 127 verses 1-13]

The Sanskrit word Narashansah means ‘the praised one’, which is the literal translation of the Arabic word Muhammad (PBUH). The Sanskrit word Kaurama means ‘one who spreads and promotes peace’. The holy Prophet was the ‘Prince of Peace’ and he preached equality of human kind and universal brotherhood. Kaurama also means an emigrant. The Prophet migrated from Makkah to Madinah and was thus also an Emigrant. He will be protected from 60,090 enemies, which was the population of Makkah. The Prophet would ride a camel. This clearly indicates that it cannot be an Indian Rishi, This mantra gave the Rishi’s name as Mamah. No rishi in India or another Prophet had this name Mamah that is derived from Mah, which means to esteem highly, or to revere, to exalt, etc. Some Sanskrit books give the Prophet’s name as ‘Mohammad’.

According to Buddhism, Buddha said “ I am not the only Buddha after me, at appropriate time a great Buddha will come and his name will be “MAITREYA” which means love, kindness, compassion, mercy etc. The Arabic for mercy is rehmet. RAHMAT is the title given to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Holy Quran (21:07) “Rahmatan lil Alameen” Mercy unto the worlds. Buddha further said, “He will migrate from his homeland” (Makkah to Madinah).

* “The wagon-possessor, the truthful and truth loving, extremely wise, powerful and generous, Mamah [Mohammad] has favored me with his words. The son of the All-powerful, possessing all good attributes, the mercy for the worlds has become famous with ten thousand [companions]”. [Rig Veda V, 27, Mantra 1]

The ten thousands Saints refer to the ten thousands companions who accompanied the Prophet (PBUH) when he entered Makkah during return to Makkah which was a unique victory in the history of mankind in which there was no blood shed.HUNDRED GOLD COINS AND TEN CHAPLETS OF KALKI AVTAR

* “He gave the Mamah Rishi a hundred gold coins, ten chaplets, three hundred steeds and ten thousand cows”. [Kuntap Sukt, Atharva Veda, Mantra 3]

He is given 100 gold coins, which refers to the believers and the earlier companions of the Prophet during his turbulent Makkan life. Later on due to persecution they migrated from Makkah to Abysinia. Later when Prophet migrated to Madinah all of them joined him in Madinah.

The 10 chaplets or necklaces were the 10 best companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) known as Ashra-Mubbashshira distinctly in Islam (10 bestowed with good news).

300 good steeds (horses of Arab Breed) refer to those companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who fought at BADR. (Their actual number was 313; however, in many prophecies the numbers are usually rounded up.)

The Quran informs us that, prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is not only Warner for one nation but, for the whole mankind, it further informs that, the prophecy of Muhammad (PBUH) was foretold in the previous Scriptures revealed on different nations.

* ” Blessed is He who has sent down the Criterion to His worshiper (Prophet Muhammad), that he is a Warner to all mankind.” (25:1)
* “We sent thee not but as a Mercy for all the creatures” (21:107)
* “We sent thee not but as a bringer of good tidings and a Warner unto all mankind.”(34:28)
* “Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures) in the law and the Gospel”. (7.157)

The above references from the Hindu Scriptures prove that Hindus were foretold about the worship of one God and were also foretold about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in their Holy Scriptures. This true religion of Vedas gradually got corrupted and converted in to Hinduism of present form.

According to Holy Quran:-

* “This day I have perfected your religion for you and completed my favor to you. I have approved Islam to be your religion …” (5.3).

* “Allah has chosen for you the religion. Do not die except being Submissive (2.132)

* “The only religion with Allah is Islam (submission) (3:19)

* “He who chooses a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him and in the everlasting life he will be among the losers” (3:85)

we all should use our wisdom & intellect to understand the holy scriptures revealed.

Updated at 3:15 p.m.: Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources told The Times.]
[Updated at 2:46 p.m.: Jackson is in a coma and his family is arriving at his bedside, a law enforcement source told The Times.
Earlier Reports

Jackson was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center this afternoon by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.

Fire Capt. Steve Ruda said paramedics responded to a call at Jackson’s home at 12:26 p.m. He was not breathing when they arrived. The paramedics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and took him to the hospital, Ruda told The Times.
[Updated at 2:12 p.m.: Paramedics were called to a home in the 100 block of Carolwood Drive off Sunset Boulevard. Jackson had rented the Bel-Air home for $100,000 a month. It was described as a French chateau estate built in 2002 with seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, 12 fireplaces and a theater.

The news comes as Jackson, 50, was attempting a comeback after years of tabloid headlines, most notably his trial and acquittal on child molestation charges.

In May, The Times reported that Jackson had rented the Bel-Air residence and was rehearsing for a series of 50 sold-out shows in London’s O2 Arena. Jackson had won the backing of two billionaires to get the so-called “King of Pop” back on stage.

His backers envision the shows at AEG’s O2 as an audition for a career rebirth that could ultimately encompass a three-year world tour, a new album, movies, a Graceland-like museum, musical revues in Las Vegas and Macau, and even a “Thriller” casino. Such a rebound could wipe out Jackson’s massive debt.

Pakistan: In Shifting Sands

By A Khokar   24 June 2009

If we take the usual defamatory rhetoric in the press about President Pervez Musharraf out—- that the man availed a lateral entry to come to the power and took an infamous action of U-Turn after incident of 9/11 but reality is that there he was who ruled us for eight long years as a President of Pakistan. He carried his infamous baggage of U-Turn with him till his last but today we find ourselves some how toeing the same line of his— saying NO to Taliban that he was infamous for. That is the reality and we may not be able to disregard this fact.

Historically speaking after the incident of 9/11 he took a U-Turn in respect of Taliban who were using our soil as their bases to fight for the freedom of their country- Afghanistan. Our society had shifted then far right side in favour of Taliban and in the face of it for his U-Turn— the entire society offered him a severe displeasure. He got lot of nagging for it and in many circles the man is almost denounced as defunct.

But the reality is that his U-turn meant that we say No to Taliban in Pakistan and all the dens and sanctuaries of Al Qaeda on our soil. Evict them from our lands along with their cohorts and other abettors. The man also earned US administration for it and Pakistan did get funding for the subject excursion. But Taliban and their beneficiaries were probably too strong and man was unable to gather sufficient support to turn the public far right opinion in favour of cleansing or eviction of Taliban that they were able to induce a religious spell in the society under the garb of their religious displayed piety. But against all the odds— the man carried on with his mission till his last.

It has taken us few years to catch up to his vision and realise that the stance of his U-Turn that we were so weary about; rather we are now forced to admit the hard fact [1] in shifting sands that—– YES; the man was right to say No to Taliban and the terrorists then[2

It is never too late to come to senses and catch up to the vision of the man and his dream theme that lately we are compelled to devise some ways and means, even to play up some tricks like use of ‘Nizam e Adil’ card and other media visual of Taliban savage insanity to shift the public opinion to at least ‘centre-right’ and turn it in favour of cleansing of menace of Taliban thorough military operations. Fortunately, for the benevolence of Pak armed forces and their devotion for our country, there are great successes on the horizon in this regard. Hopefully the ongoing military operations meet their desired successes.  It will be unfortunate not to admit that our well sought exercise for restoring a normalcy in the society is simply a revival and toeing to the old given line by the man— since gone off the scene.

Matter of the fact is that his vision lives and today we find that the entire Pakistan is all out— determined to wage a decisive war against Taliban and their cohorts ——-but ironically their known abettors are still hanging around in the lobbies of Islamabad trying to twist the facts. They are busy in shifting the opinion back to old grounds to save their skins but probably the era of duplicity in Pakistan is now over for the manufacturers of deception forces like MMA and JUI Fazlur Rehman,  Jammat e Islami, Tehrik e Insaf and bunch of desperate of ML(N) with the urge to be called as Amir ul Momineen group. They are on the run and finding no place to hide or escape the ‘naming and shaming’ which is but destined for them.

The pearls and the jewels of successes found studded on our horizon by the determined efforts of patriot and zealous sons and daughters of this dreamland— they ought to glitter and sparkle to give us the light, the hope to the people of this dreamland and make our dreams beautiful.

So let’s give credit where credit is due and it must go to the present day government and for their courageous and bold initiative to manage and unite the entire nation on one platform and for their efforts to make the vision of bygone man to relive, and—- to our saviors—our men and officers of Armed forces for laying their lives for their home land and for their bold operations to cleanse our dream land – Pakistan; free of menace of terrorism.

Wind Beneath My Wings

A Khokar on June 17th, 2009 :

Our Gallant Armed Forces are the “Wind Beneath Our Wings

 Please Link:

It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that’s your way,
you always walked a step behind.

So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strength.
A beautiful face without a name — for so long,
a beautiful smile to hide the pain.

Did you ever know that you’re my hero,
and ev’rything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
’cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
but I’ve got it all here in my heart.
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it,
I would be nothing with out you.

Did you ever know that you’re my hero,
and ev’rything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
’cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly, fly, fly away,
you let me fly so high.
Oh, fly, fly,
so high against the sky, so high I almost touch the sky.
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you,
the wind beneath my wings.

Hamid Gul: “Nothing but the truth”

Rehmat’s World    17 June 2009
The former Pakistan intelligence service ISI chief, Lt. Gen. Hamid Gul, probably is the most hated Pakistani general in the West’s mainstream media. Interestingly, his views about the US are no different than the views of the two celebrated Zionist American Jews, former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger and professor Noam Chomsky.
“America is the world’s greatest terrorist state,” – Noam Chomsky, in his speech at MIT criticizing US invasion of Afghanistan.
“America has no friends, only interests,” Henry Kissinger on US foreign policy.
While Henry Kissinger has always been darling of western media – professor Chomsky, who is son of Zionist Jewish parents – lived in a Jewish settlement in Palestine and don’t believe Israel as an illegal entity – is demonized by Zionist-regime’s foot-soldiers like David Horowitz, who in his September 26, 2001 FrontPage magazine article, The Sick Mind of Noam Chomsky wrote: “Without Question, the most devious, the most dishonest and – in this hour of his nation’s grave crisis – the most treacherous intellectual in America belongs to MIT professor Noam Chomsky.”
So why General Hamid Gul is hated by the West’s mainstream media? Because, in an interview with Arnaud de Borchgrave, UPI editor-at-large on September 14, 2001, Hamid Gul pointed finger at Bush administration and Israel for masterminding the 9/11 events: “The U.S. spends $40 billion a year on its 11 intelligence agencies. That’s $400 billion in 10 years. Yet the Bush Administration says it was taken by surprise. I don’t believe it. Within 10 minutes of the second twin tower being hit in the World Trade Center CNN said Osama bin Laden had done it. That was a planned piece of disinformation by the real perpetrators. It created an instant mindset and put public opinion into a trance, which prevented even intelligent people from thinking for themselves.”
In this context – the Zionists’ definition of “freedom of speech” is best described by Noam Chomsky in the review of D. Norman Finkelstein’s book ‘The Holocaust Industry’: “Only a Jew can write such a book and get it published.” Dr. Noeman Finkelstein quoted his late mother in the Foreward of the same book: “It’s not an accident that Jews invented the word chutzpah.” Currently, the Canadians are witnessing a similar charade in the case of Vs the Zionist Lobby (B’nai B’rith, Canadian Jewish Congress and four other Zionist organizations) – being heard by a Tribunal, referred by Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC). The website, which is owned by Henry Makow, son of Holocaust survivors, for spreading hatred toward his fellow Jews!
On the death of Pakistan’s COAS General Asif Nawaz on January 8, 1993 – General Hamid Gul was the most senior Army officer, but he was by-passed by General Abdul Waheed under Washington’s instructions to Pakistani president Ghulam Ishaq Khan – for his “pro-Islamic leanings”.
In 2008, the US targeted Hamid Gul as a terrorist, claiming that he has ties with Al-Qaeda and Taliban. I remember his response to a frustrated western reporter who asked him everytime some Afghan pinpoints Osama Bin Laden’s whereabout – American forces fail to find him there. “In Pakhtun villages we even recognize the dogs from the neighboring villages. Then how come no one knows the whereabout of Osama Bin Laden – unless they’re making fool of Americans for money!”
Recently, Gul Hamid was interviewed (watch 7 videos at the bottom of this post) on “Loud & Clear From Islamabad”, a Pakistani Web-TV show. In the interview he detailed Islamabad’s submission to American cause – earning public anger and enemity of Pashtun in the neighboring Afghanistan. He assured paranoid foreigners that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is quite safe under military control and will never be allowed to fall in the hands of the so-called “terrorists”. He blamed Israel for Washington and London blackmailing Pakistan through insurgency and the local sell-out politicians and some high officials in Asif Zardari’s government.

Close to My Heart

By A Khokar        16 June 2009

I used to wonder that flower of rose known as the king flower, the only flower which bears so many beautiful colours and has such a sweet smell; why must it carry such a dreadful thorns on its stem. Go near the flower or try to pluck it, your fingers may not escape the little sharp cut which makes you bleed.

People may have their taste of any colour but this flower always offers a choice for them for any occasion. So many shades, so many colours, these colours are always there. The unique fragrance of roses remains most enchanting; one may have not smelled any other flower in life but can’t say that he has not enjoyed the sweet smell of roses. One may arrange and mix any flower with it; rose always stands out dominating on the bouquet.

Rose is also the symbol of romance and bliss. It is an interpreting tool for ones heart and people always chose this flower to mirror their inner feelings. Rose has always been the favourite subject of all the writers and poets.

The close observation of this plant reveals that it also carries a special pattern of dread full thorn on its stem that no creeper or the intruder may dare coming up its stem and reach at the top for any savagery.

Thus God Almighty teaches us that how essential it is to guard any thing kept closer to our heart that it needs to grow the potent dreadful defences thorns like the Roses they do. If there were no thorns on the roses stem, the rose buds would have never ever seen a day of their bloom and splendour of colour and there would have been no fragrance. How inert and empty would have been the world of romance without colourful and sweet smelling roses.

Likewise our dream land of our ideology—Pakistan the country that we love and in the bliss that we live so freely treading our way of life, of our choice and liking; it  may only survive and bloom and prosper when we maintain a potent deterring defence which caters for all the savage intruders and enemies, may they be internal or external. They ought to be made to a sure bleed when ever they try to attack us or when we purge or cleanse them, exactly like the roses they do.

All the beauties of life that we keep close to our heart ought to remain well guarded and protected——- all the times.

Why Blowing Up of Bolan Mail is Not Condemned?

By Akhokar  15 June 2009

The so-called Balochistan Republican Army is part of a list of three or four terrorist groups that do not really exist on the ground but are the joint creation of CIA and Indian intelligence in Afghanistan. Karzai’s intelligence units act as their facilitator. In Baluchistan the anti Pakistan subversive operation is headed by a traitor of this country who is named Brahmdagh Bugti. Reportedly he keeps moving around in various training camps and Indian-protected safe houses in Kabul plotting how best to damage Pakistan.

Brahmdagh and some of other misguided stooges recruited by anti-Pakistan foreign powers in Afghanistan pulled another terrorist attack inside Pakistan last week when they planted a bomb inside Bolan Express, a train connecting Karachi with Quetta.

The foreign-backed terrorists working for Brahmdagh accepted responsibility for killing and injuring innocent Pakistanis. And yet it was stunning to see that the Chief Minister of Baluchistan refused to condemn these terrorists. And he’s not alone. What about the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan and other ‘national’ politicians like Nawaz Sharif and Chaudhry Shujaat? Is there not a single Pakistani politician willing to call a spade a spade?
Granted that problems in Baluchistan need to be resolved but can’t we even condemn those who are openly working against the country with the support of our enemies and playing with the lives of innocent people? Why innocent Pakistanis are killed and maimed for politicsscoring and to coerce the government in accepting their demands? What kind of a bankrupt politics is this?

These are the same politicians who refuse to blame the US for turning Afghanistan into a base for anti-Pakistan activities. As usual the evidence of killing of innocent and injured in the train has intentionally not been used to discredit the foreign-backed terrorists and chance has been wasted.

This may only happen in Pakistan that bunch of savage culprits blow up a train and then find no one ready to condemn them?

Hold Your Applause

By Chris Hedges-

Did they play Barack Obama’s speech to the Muslim world in the prison corridors of Abu Ghraib, Bagram air base, Guantanamo or the dozens of secret sites where we hold thousands of Muslims around the world? Did it echo off the walls of the crowded morgues filled with the mutilated bodies of the Muslim dead in Baghdad or Kabul? Was it broadcast from the tops of minarets in the villages and towns decimated by U.S. iron fragmentation bombs? Was it heard in the squalid refugee camps of Gaza, where 1.5 million Palestinians live in the world’s largest ghetto?

What do words of peace and cooperation mean from us when we torture—yes, we still torture—only Muslims? What do these words mean when we sanction Israel’s brutal air assaults on Lebanon and Gaza, assaults that demolished thousands of homes and left hundreds dead and injured? How does it look for Obama to call for democracy and human rights from Egypt, where we lavishly fund and support the despotic regime of Hosni Mubarak, one of the longest-reigning dictators in the Middle East?

We may thrill to Obama’s rhetoric, but very few of the 1.3 billion Muslims in the world are as deluded. They grasp that nothing so far has changed for Muslims in the Middle East under the Obama administration. The wars of occupation go on or have been expanded. Israel continues to flout international law, gobbling up more Palestinian land and carrying out egregious war crimes in Gaza. Calcified, repressive regimes in countries such as Egypt and Saudi Arabia are feted in Washington as allies.

The speech at Cairo University, which usually has trucks filled with riot police outside the university gates and a heavy security presence on campus to control the student body, is an example of the facade. Student political groups, as everyone who joined in the standing ovation for the president knew, are prohibited. Faculty deans are chosen by the administration, rather than elected by professors, “as a way to combat Islamist influence on campus,” according to the U.S. State Department’s latest human rights report. And, as The Washington Post pointed out,  students who use the Internet “as an outlet for their political or social views are on notice: One Cairo University student blogger was jailed for two months last summer for ‘public agitation,’ and another was kicked out of university housing for criticizing the government.”

The expanding imperial projects and tightening screws of repression lurch forward under Obama. We are not trying to end terror or promote democracy. We are ensuring that our corporate state has a steady supply of the cheap oil to which it is addicted. And the scarcer oil becomes, the more aggressive we become. This is the game playing out in the Muslim world.

The Bush White House openly tortured. The Obama White House tortures and pretends not to. Obama may have banned waterboarding, but as Luke Mitchell points out in next month’s issue of Harper’s magazine, torture, including isolation, sleep and sensory deprivation and force-feeding, continues to be used to break detainees. The president has promised to close Guantanamo, where only 1 percent of the prisoners held offshore by the United States are kept. And the Obama administration has sought to obscure the fate and condition of thousands of Muslims held in black holes around the globe. As Mitchell notes, the Obama White House “has sought to prevent detainees at Bagram prison in Afghanistan from gaining access to courts where they may reveal the circumstances of their imprisonment. It has sought to continue the practice of rendering prisoners to unknown and unknowable locations outside the United States, and sought to keep secret many (though not all) of the records regarding our treatment of those detainees.”

Muslim rage is stoked because we station tens of thousands of American troops on Muslim soil, occupy two Muslim nations, make possible the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine, support repressive Arab regimes and torture thousands of Muslims in offshore penal colonies where prisoners are stripped of their rights. We now have 22 times as many military personnel in the Muslim world as were deployed during the crusades in the 12th century. The rage comes because we have constructed massive military bases, some the size of small cities, in Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Kuwait, and established basing rights in the Gulf States of Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The rage comes because we have expanded our military empire into neighbouring Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. It comes because we station troops and Special Forces in Egypt, Algeria and Yemen. And this vast network of bases and military outposts looks suspiciously permanent.

The Muslim world fears, correctly, that we intend to dominate Middle East oil supplies and any Caspian Sea oil infrastructure. And it is interested not in our protestations of good will but in the elemental right of justice and freedom from foreign occupation. We would react, should the situation be reversed, no differently.

The brutal reality of expanding foreign occupation and harsher and harsher forms of control are the tinder of Islamic fundamentalism, insurgences and terrorism. We can blame the violence on a clash of civilizations. We can naively tell ourselves we are envied for our freedoms. We can point to the Koran. But these are fantasies that divert us from facing the central dispute between us and the Muslim world, from facing our own responsibility for the virus of chaos and violence spreading throughout the Middle East. We can have peace when we shut down our bases, stay the hand of the Israelis to create a Palestinian state, and go home, or we can have long, costly and ultimately futile regional war. We cannot have both.

Obama, whose embrace of American imperialism is as naive and destructive as that of George W. Bush, is the newest brand used to peddle the poison of permanent war. We may not see it. But those who bury the dead do.

Be an Apologist – Without Apology

By A Khokar   09 June 2009

Obama returns to the Oval Office in Washington where conservatives are deriding his trip abroad as an “apology tour.” In keeping with their general philosophy of giving no quarter to President Barracks Obama, conservatives spent much of last week lambasting Obama’s visit to the Middle East as an “apology tour.”

It was widely thought that Obama will bring in some drastic changes the way USA relate to the existing governments in the Middle East. Currently, whether US is officially on record as favouring democracy or not, they are still deeply in bed with status quo regimes. Israel, the US backed bullying kid since planted there on the Arab lands and the global network of military bases especially the installations in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Iraq and US warships operate constantly in the region’s coastal waters. Not to say the least that US is in occupation of Afghanistan and is bent upon, to pour in the planned surge of thousands of more troops into that forsaken land.

But contrary to what all is going on on the grounds; Obama interestingly struck a hot chord of announcing the withdrawal of all the forces from Iraq as well as Afghanistan in the near future. But it would be naïve enough to think that Osama bin Laden and his Al-Qaeda who was able to mark his presence on the dart by his messages prior to Obama speech, would just pack up and live a quiet life in the absence of the heavy American military presence in the region, it can’t be denied that they’re frequently cited as a rallying cry and recruiting tool. What’s more, it’s their presence that bolsters the broader logic of Al Qaeda’s view that Muslims must attack the “far enemy”—the United States—in order to express their grievances with local governments.

The invasion of Iraq, needless to say, did a great deal to intensify Arab fear that the United States is seeking the imperial subjugation of their lands (and oil). And Obama’s not condemning the invasion of Iraq by George W Bush helps in this regard, but there continues to be speculation about “residual forces” remaining in Iraq even after Obama’s promised withdrawal of “combat forces.”

But unlike the other US bases around the world, the Middle Eastern ones are deeply unpopular and seen as a legacy of colonialism.

Muslim World was expecting a plan for substantive changes in policy. What we got instead were fine words expressing complicated ideas on ‘deep subjects’ and Obama left this region rather in limbo with everything essentially the way the things were before.

Egypt: Obama Unfurls His plan

By A Khokar   06 June 2009

While giving his most eloquent Cairo speech, President Barrack Obama was not found to be a comfortable guest for the Egyptian government, although he was courteous and honest. He said things, many of his listeners would have preferred not to hear, among them his host, President Hosni Mubarak, to whom he indirectly recommended non-repressive domestic policies with freedom of speech, a suggestion that if followed could terminate the career of the Egyptian president, and abort that of his son as presumptive successor.

Obama promised to say what he thought, and did so on all of the topics he addressed. Obama’s newsworthy statement was his adamant reiteration of his conviction that Israeli settlement expansion must be halted, in conformance with the commitment made by Israel in the road map agreement, and that an independent Palestinian state must come into being.

This uncompromising declaration is a blow to the Netanyahu government in Israel, which has expected its political influence inside the United States to prevent the Obama administration’s interference with its expansion of Jewish colonization of annexed Palestinian territories.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made continued illegal expansion into Palestinian lands the policy of his government. He declares his policy is never to accept a Palestinian state. He speaks of an arrangement by which residual Palestinian-occupied territory could become an economic dependency of Israel, but under no circumstances sovereign.

The Israeli prime minister is now trapped, since Obama has called his bluff. His friends complain that Obama is not living up to a Bush administration promise that the road map agreement was just a scrap of paper Israel could ignore.

But time seems to be up for duplicity. Yet there now are nearly a half-million people in the illegal settlements, caught between the encouragement of Netanyahu and his American Likud allies, and there is American government of Barrack Obama. What will they now do?

This is the blood knot that Obama proposes to untie between Arabs and Israelis. Although he has a rare gift for seeking the middle grounds but it will be hard to stay in the middle on this Arab- Israeli issue. Obama will have to articulate US policy more clearly and emphatically than have any of his predecessors, and he will have to demonstrate that he means what he says. To make peace, he will first have to make some enemies.

The second noteworthy declaration by Obama was that he intends to withdraw all American military forces from Iraq and Afghanistan; to establish no American bases there; and to demand no privileged access to the region’s resources. In some circles it would seem a renouncement of the American military programme of world-girdling strategic bases, pursued for the past 30 years.

Although not so directly but Obama did speak in length about Pakistan. This is a matter of grave concern for Pakistan that Obama has most equivocally announced that the war against terrorism is now shifted and is confined to the troubled territories of Pakistan from where Taliban and Al Qaeda are operating and Pak Armed Forces are busy fighting them out.

This may not be difficult to ascertain that while Pak army is busy clearing successfully certain pockets of resistances in Dir-Swaat area which can be called as Pakistan local issue. But the so called epicentre of Terrorism – FATA area which is depicted as ‘the hot spot’ in the war against Terrorism around which the entire War on Terrorism hems has not been attended to by Pak Army.

It is but sure that after completion of Military operation in Swaat- Dir Area; Pak armed forces will have to be diverted to FATA area and we may find that new surge of US forces in Afghanistan which is in progress will be seen moving in FATA under the pretext of assisting Pak armed forces. Surely certain situations can be created that US irksome involvements on ground becomes but inescapable.

But it is also absurd not to admit that theoretically US forces are already engaged in FATA area. They are carrying out the aerial bombardment of targets by means of Drone attacks; Pak armed forces will only be joining in.
